Episode Description

In this week’s episode, I welcome Jennifer Rose Asher to the podcast. She joins me from her home in Dallas, Texas.

In the episode, Jennifer shares the story of how she became a mother. She details everything from her decision to have a child through two miscarriages and a whirlwind trip to Vietnam to find and adopt her daughter. Along the way, Jennifer and her husband tried multiple approaches looking for their child and, in the end, would never have predicted where they would find her.

Jennifer has just authored a book on her journey of becoming a mom called “Journey to My Daughter.” Her book will be released in December 2021. I have been privileged to have a peek and highly recommend this book as a definite must-read. Jennifer’s book started as a memoir detailing her journey to her daughter, but it is so much more than that.  For families or people who are considering adoption, this book is for you. Through Jennifer’s story, you will find the confidence to know that your child is out there regardless of any difficulties you may be experiencing today. So keep following the signs and be flexible in your thinking to navigate the journey.

I have known Jennifer for a short time, but she struck me as selfless, loving, passionate, supportive, creative, intelligent, and firm. I enjoyed our conversation, and it was a pleasure to have her join me on the podcast.

Enjoy the episode, and a special thank you to my listeners for joining me on this journey. Stay tuned and keep listening.
